We had a great experience at this new restaurant! The food was fresh, well seasoned, and full of flavor. The deviled eggs were creamy and delicious, and the salads were crisp, fresh, and lightly dressed. Also, their regular coffee is very good and strong. We were too excited about the food and forgot to take pics. Next time! A special thank you to our waitress, Heather, who made our visit even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive to every detail, and checked on us throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. Her excellent service made us feel genuinely welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Heather suggested coming back for their weekend brunch, and after this visit, we are looking forward to doing just that. We will definitely be back!

Had a mid day meal here Sunday so impressed! It’s rare to find a restaurant that has it all these days, but here we are, in Garland, TX encountering one. From the hostess, to the server, to kitchen and even a gentlemen that I believe I heard him say was the director of food services that actually worked and didn’t just get in the way. Our server, Renee was an absolute delight! She was friendly, polite, entertaining and engaging. When I told her I was drinking hungry, she said oh, we better get some appetizers on this table quick…she wasn’t wrong. And the drinks were all so good and we had a bit of a variety of them. Everyone’s meals were top notch and it’s so nice to see vegetables with dishes that typically have a heavy starch. I won’t bore you too much with what we had but…spinach artichoke dip, calamari, Marsala, smash burger, creole pasta, pork chop. :).

This place is so great!!! First and foremost, Emily, the bartender is AMAZING!!! Such a great personality, so personable, and so knowledgeable about the food and drinks! The food is AMAZING. I had the spinach and artichoke dip and the salmon taco… WOW! Absolutely amazing. I will be recommending this place to all my friends!

We were super excited to try Herb & Ember, and we visited recently for dinner. Not only was the ambiance beautiful and romantic, the drinks and food were delish. The ahi tuna nachos were fantastic; we could have eaten many, many more. I ordered the butter chicken, which was a nice, lighter option, while my husband ordered the French dip. The beef was lean and the sweet potato fries were super yummy. The service was also stand out, with Chef Kadir warmly welcoming us and our sweet server, Heather, being extremely attentive and equally excited for us to try various menu items as we were! Overall, it's a great place for date night or friends' dinner. We took our very well-behaved 3-year-old and he did well, but he was the only kid there. It's an upscale restaurant to bring kids to, although they do have a cache of high chairs just in case and were very welcoming to our toddler and us. Either way, check this place out! Super vibey with wonderful food and great staff. Herb & Ember has the same fantastic owners/chef as the Ferah concepts, and it's easy to see all the expertise at work here. Very nice!

WHAT A FANTASTIC RESTAURANT! We came upon Herb & Ember yesterday for date night and the spot was perfect! 10/10 would recommend! Food: Flavor was balanced across all dishes, we had the short ribs, the blackened creole pasta, and the pork chop. All of them were great and our favorite was the creole pasta. That sauce was fantastic, the pasta was cooked perfect, along with the mix of seafood, chicken and sausage, the flavor took me back to New Orleans! The short rib continues the great legacy from the owner's other restaurant. It's fantastic as usual. Now since it's made from bison so it's a bit leaner than the usual short rib you would expect. Drinks: The White Linen was worth pointing out being the best drink of the night. It was so refreshing, the flavor profile is VERY balanced. Highly recommend it for a warm Texas day. Goes well with all the dishes we had. The New York Sour was pretty good as well. Ambiance & Decor: 11/10. The attention to details was impeccable. Whoever chose the color scheme, design details and the furniture picks deserve a huge raise. Garland needed a place like this for a long time!
